phpBB3′s styles are now divided into three parts: template (all of the files with the HTML code), theme (the CSS file), and imageset (all of the images that go with a style). Douglas covers the new styles management in phpBB3, including how to install styles, edit styles (including mixing and matching templates, themes, and imagesets), and export styles. Plus, Douglas goes over the phpBB3 Coding Guidelines, which detail many of the new controls available to style authors to increase the control and flexibility that style authors now have over the design of their phpBB3 forum.
